Well, I will be spending the summer in Silicon Valley (31 May to 31 August),
working for Intuit in Menlo Park. I should know my residential address soon;
I'll post it when I get it. I'm leaving for home on 22 May, and going to
California on 31 May. Don't send e-mail to my MIT account after 21 May - I may
not see it until I get back in the Fall. I'll have an account at work -
???@intuit.com. I'll try and post it here. If I don't and you need it, you
can send mail to eshenk@intuit.com (Eric Shenk), and ask him.

The following was written by one of my clients who is involved in a project
to specify the architecture of his organization's data communications network
for then upcoming decade or so.
I am the very model of a modern network architect,
I've information presentation, transport, session, Oh See Net,
I know about the X.400, X.500 Standard set,
I am the very model of a modern network architect.
I carry all the data via integrated LAN and WAN,
With gateways, bridges, routers I can form a Global Network plan,
And clients talk to all their servers end-to-end with seamless ease,
Assisted by creative use of APIs and RPCs.
Protection of the network I achieve with great security,
Through DES authentication I can send a message tamper-free,
I verify the user with a cryptographic public key.
And access to an object must be gained from my directory.
I run the system from an integrated single-window view,
And manage all financial transfers with a store-and-forward queue.
In short, the many network layers I apply to great effect,
I am the very model of a modern network architect.

Subject: Bike to Work Day Monday 20 May; Rally in Boston
Organization: ITS Preservation Society
Distribution: ne
Date: 14 May 91 00:02:13
Monday, 20 May is Bike to Work Day. Join the Boston Area
Bicycle Coalition and Earthworks in an 8:30am rally at Boston
City Hall Plaza to show support for bicycle transportation in
greater Boston. Congressman Joe Kennedy, sponsor of a bill
requiring states to spend 3% of federal highway funds on
bicycle and pedestrian needs, will be present. Come and
learn about safe riding techniques and other how-to's of
utilitarian cycling. Ride a tour of the eighth congressional
district. Join with other cyclists to increase our visibility.
On that Monday morning group rides to Boston City Hall will
leave from the following locations:
Cambridge Common (near Harvard Street) 8:00am
Jamaica Plain Monument (Centre and South St) 8:00am
Brookline at Kupel's Bakery (Harvard and Fuller) 8:00am
Porter Square Cambridge (Near T entrance) 8:00am
Powderhouse Square Somerville 8:00am
Roslindale at Adams Park (Roslindale Sq on Washington St) 7:30am
Newton Centre at Lederman's Bakery 7:30am
Watertown Square 7:30am (see you there!)
Arlington Centre at Medford St 7:30am
Dorchester at Neponset Circle 7:30am
With a small amount of effort you can make -every- day bike to
work day. In the process, you can personally reduce traffic
congestion, air and noise pollution, fuel crises, the likelihood of
war, your expenses and your body fat.
For further information call the Boston Area Bicycle
Coalition at 617 491-RIDE or Earthworks at 617 983-9463.
Or send me mail.
PS Make an effort to show up and be seen at the rally even
if, like myself, you don't normally get up at oh-dark-hundred
or don't work in downtown Boston.

I am going to be a sophomore at the Massachusetts

c a m b r i d g e m a s s a c h u s e t t s .
I am an undesignated student, which means I have no major. I perhaps
will choose to study Visual Arts because I want to design beautiful
things, like X-pensive, X-otic, X-cellent automobiles.
I am six feet tall. I think I might weigh around 219 lbs.
I have red hair that is quite short. I used to have a small beard,
but it was shaved in conjunction with an art video project. I have decided
not to let it grow back because, HEY it is the Summer, right?
I enjoy all of the following things X-cept one:
**Music
-by these and other creators of it.
NitzerEbb RedHotChiliPeppers
Green Day Operation Ivy
Front242 DagNasty
BeastieBoys Minor Threat
KMFDM (which stands for Keine Mehrit Fur Die Meitled)
(which means No Pity For The Majority)
Fishbone Tangerine Dream
NineInchNails
**Ice Hockey. I am a Philadelphia Flyers fan, and I play right wing/center.
**Rollerhockey. I have no favorite team aside from the one I might be on at
any given time, and again I am a right wing.
**Soccer. I am a soccer fan in general. I love to play. Position: GoalKeeper
**Life all alone.
**The Charles River at night, even if it is chilly.
**Hugs and kisses.
**Close Friends.
Guess which one I am not happy with.
I am originally from Johnstown, New York. Johnstown is a small town of less
than ten thousand people which is located one hour west of Albany, and
two hours east of Syracuse. I was not happy there, and I enjoy the city
of Boston very much.
I have a sister named Dana who will be attending Notre Dame this fall.
I have a brother named Rick who is eleven years old. He shows some
tremendous artistic talent.
I would describe myself with these terms:
thoughtful kind obsessive critical oversensitive confused troubled
interested caring naive visual introspective lonely impressible
simple irrational rash compassionate polite difficult IMPULSIVE
As for the future, I look to it with a hidden smile and hope.
I'll just not think too hard about the details for now. =]
*====================SIDE NOTE
* Warsaw Ghetto is a song by Nitzer Ebb.
* Nitzer Ebb is a cyberpunk, technobody, synthcore industrial dance duo
* of Doug McCarthy and Bon Harris from England. The song is harsh,
* rhythmic, and aggressive. It speaks of pain.
If there is anything else you want or feel you need to know, ask me!
