amgreene (Andrew Marc Greene):
We are, we are, we are, we are, we are the Gondoliers.
The show that we appear in has been 'round a hundred years.
So come, so come, so come tonight, and listen as we sing
The story of a gondolier who really is a king.
Casilda was a princess who was married when a babe.
Her husband was no older, and he didn't have to shave.
But Don Alhambra stole the prince, and brought him over here,
And left him with a highly respectable gondolier.

Major Oil Exporter Announces Merger Agreement
---------------------------------------------
Bagdad, Iraq (HPI) - A major mid-east oil exporter announced a major
merger agreement today. Iraq, a major exporter of oil, tanks, poison gas,
and soon to be nuclear weapons, announced the acquisition of Kuwait.
Kuwait, one of the largest exporters of oil, and not much else,
was acquired in a unique hostile takeover move after accelerated
negotiations between Iraq and Kuwait broke down. As reported by
representatives of Iraq, the deal involves the exchange of all Kuwait's
assets and personnel for $0, with Kuwait becoming a wholly owned
subsidiary of Iraq.
Iraq says it plans to operate Kuwait as a separate division with Iraq.
Officials from Kuwait were not available for comment at this time. Rumors
are that Kuwait's upper management has been "terminated" or left to work
for the neighboring Saudi Arabia.
US officials were upset that Iraq did not file an "Intentions" form
with the SEC.
Saddam Hussein, CEO, CinC, and SOB of Iraq had this to say about the deal,
"We saw an opportunity to acquire a bigger position in the marketplace.
After careful research we found the Kuwait's balance sheet showed great
assets with incredible growth, but virtually unprotected. You saw this
when our takeover plan succeeded so quickly and easily."
When asked about the future plans of Kuwait Hussein added, "We'll have to
see how the rest of the market accepts the merger. We don't expect a
proxy fight, but we will not denied this golden opportunity to become #1
in the marketplace."
Reports from Iraq and Kuwait have said that a "downsizing" of the
management has already begun. Many of Kuwait's personnel have gone to
work elsewhere, with many others facing "termination" by Iraq.
With this blitzkreig takeover of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and other oil
exporters are beginning to install anti-takeover measures to prevent
an other Kuwait-style takeover. The United States also has started
to implement certain safeguards into the marketplace for protection
of it's interests.
Goodbye Kuwait, we hardly knew ya.....

"Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and

their ignorance the hard way."
