I wish Conference Services at MIT would play by the same
rules as any other organization on campus....
Every March, all the organizations get together and bargain for space
in Kresge and the Student Center. People make compromises and
everyone is happy.
Then, along comes the Conference people.... They take over
everything!! Instead of having stuff in 26-100, 6-120, 10-250 and
other large halls, they take over Kresge AND all the rehearsal rooms
(they don't want to be disturbed -- poor babies!!) AND Sala (they want
a place to be served food). They take over -- who cares who reserved
the area months ago... they get kicked out!!
This is REALLY unfair!!
Unfortunately, protesting will only lead to arrests... :-(
(just to let the tyrants get their way)
