ambar (Jean Marie Diaz):

In California, the very idea of even coming close to hitting a
pedestrian is enough to turn most drivers white with fear. This could
be due to the fact that there is a slightly better than 50% chance
that any given pedestrian in California is an attorney. Most
Eastern-trained pedestrians will have the following experience within
two weeks of moving here: they will time their crossing as usual,
prepare to cross just behind the oncoming car, take one step into the
street, and jump back in surprise as every single car in view
screeches to a complete halt. Of course, the result is that most
California pedestrians have no more survival instincts than a Dodo
bird, which means, as an Eastern driver, you'd better learn to watch
out for them or run the risk of losing everything you own in a massive
personal-injury lawsuit.

the end of the term, and I can listen to classical music and simply

have time just to have fun with me again....

What a glorious time to be alive!!!
