I dunno... he seemed to lack a certain feeling for the text... it
sounded like, a `gosh, listen to my clever take-off on Hamlet.'

As to the text, I would have preferred to see the word "fortune"
left in with its meaning changed.  Something like ``Whether 'tis
nobler in the mind / to support these things, and pay out an
outrageous fortune, / or, by opposing, end them.  The veep,
perhaps, may dream, / but what dreams he has must give us pause.''

I guess I look for more wordplay in my takeoffs, and more radar
blips in my landings... ;-)
