Given the nonsense that traditionally passes for congressional debate on an issue, I think the speech makes an excellent point with uncommon style. Saying that Markey does not have the oratorical skills of a great actor is beside the point. One could just as well claim that his critics don't have the facilities of John Simon <famous theater critic>.
