Hi!
As mentioned in the previous email, I'll be hosting dinner on Friday
night of Chapter Weekend I. The ostensible reason for this is that I
am getting married on Sunday (to Matt Braun, who some of you may know
- not a brother, but a frequent project-attender and
chapter-weekend-driver). The real reason is that I feel like I haven't
done anything with the chapter in a long time, and I miss everyone. =)
I'd also like to have faces to associate with some of the new
usernames I see.
Dinner will probably be unglamorous, but plentiful: spaghetti with
meat and non-meat sauce, and garlic bread. I'll hang around at
Nobscott for as long as I can, but chances are I will have to leave
Friday night or early Saturday (got this pesky thing called a
rehearsal to attend on Saturday evening). The ceremony is on Sunday at
2pm, at Immaculate Conception Church, on Alewife Brook Parkway in
Cambridge; everyone is welcome to attend the ceremony itself. I'll
send directions as soon as I figure them out.
I hope a lot of people can come! I'll see you there! I suppose you
*could* consider this a memorial dinner, since after Sunday I'll be
Barbara Braun instead of Barbara Manganis, but I'll try not to kill
anyone with my cooking. Except maybe Brad, for writing those awful
haiku. =)
