Hiya,
Sorry to clutter your inboxes one last time. To clear up any
confusion (hopefully):

Today is July 4, and yes, Fulton's Folly is indeed happening, its 17th
time. Bring yourself, all your friends, and all their friends, too.

It will be in the same general location as it has been for at least
the last seven years (see end of message if you've never been). As
markers, look for the Giant Screw: 7 or 8 feet long spraypainted
silver, not the puny aluminum award. We will also have The Banner and
a pink flamingo, and probably several brothers in APO shirts.

Bring raingear: forecast is for rain sometime between noon and next
morning. We will only have a finite amount of space under tarps,
altho we will try to find a place with trees that will allow us to
hang more tarps. Please bring flashlights to help with breakdown.

We will have EXTRA water and EXTRA sunscreen, a LIMITED amount of
cans of soda for the usual $.40, and a LIMITED number of blankets from
the office. Please bring your own water and other beverages, your own
meals, your own sunscreen, and your own blankets/towels and some warm
clothing for after sundown.

Notable times:
7am: strike team assembles in the office and hauls the cart o' stuff
away, picks a spot. If you have a favorite spot, come help us pick.
The process is rather democratic.

9am thru noon: we'll need people to justify our large roped off area.
Come early to hang out and spread out.

Sometime After Sundown: Fireworks.

Sometime Soon Thereafter: breakdown and haul back the cart.

See you there!!
--Jill, PC
--Brad, FC who at least brought the "barge" back to FellowSHIP.

That reminds me, we should be able to put together a decent IM crew
team, right?

For the first timers: Fulton's Folly has, at least for the last 7
years, been a group of about 100 APO and friends in a roped-off area
along the esplanade, on the bank of the Charles River, on the spit of
land between the Charles and the "Lagoon." To get there from campus,
walk across the Mass Ave bridge to Boston, and go down the ramp to the
Esplanade proper, and hang a left. Cross the first footbridge across the
"lagoon," and look for us on the left, between the paved path and the
bulk of the Chas River Basin. We will be someplace between the
fireworks barge and the Hatch Shell, neither of which you can really miss.
