Hi again,
I just talked to the honcho in charge of volunteers at the
Horizons Initiative and she said that the second session of training
is next wedsnesday, 21st, from 6:30 to 9:30pm. The first was last nite.
So, I, and anyone interested from the chapter, will have to make up
the first session on Saturday the 24th, but if you get your butt in
gear by the 21st, you don't have to waste all of Saturday (there's a
break around noon-thirty between the two. She says that it's also
more fun to listen to the speeches than to watch the video tape on the
makeup day).
And if this term is bad---the next training sessions are in
May, again looking for a six month commitment from then.
