Administrative notes:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Start: 7:00 pm; End: later pm Present: Lizzie, Brian P., Jake, Matt,
Cathy, Katie, Yale, Ingrid, Richard, Grant, Carolyn, susama, Lan,
Melissa, Jill, Ari, Pipa, Joe, Larry Anderson
Officers' reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SVP (Susama): Project next weekend. Sawing. Yay. Come. Don't make
me beg. Thanks. Hug.
Oh yeah and come to Conclave.
MVP (Jeffrey): Pledges are all fairly enthused still, and looks like most
big/little groupings are working out. (If this isn't true, let me
know.) Big brothers should let me know if they have met with their
littles lately, especially Oscar, Laura, Ingrid, and David. We
probably should pledge Mike Kenworthy at some point. Has he been
making it to events?
AVP (Melissa): I reserved rooms. And I took minutes. That is all.
Treasurer (Matt): Umm....day your wets...no that's not it. (long pause)
Pay yer debts. Pay me lots.
FC (Brian P.): Pay your debts. No wait...wrong report. Lessee, there's
a dinner trip Friday. SFF is on Saturday. There will be Lizzie's
parents, and music, and dancing.
Coming soon will be the never-ending movie night. When? Where? Which
movies?
APOcEd (David): There are APOC's.
ASC (Cathy): Yes?
Lizzie: Do you have a report?
ASC (Cathy): No.
PubDir (Pipa): Not present.
Historian (Carolyn J.): We have pictures. See bulletin boards. It's really cool.
Although the picture of Emily and smut is missing.
President (Lizzie): WPI is having a Holiday Formal on December 5.
The Region 1 2 Conference is in Reading, PA from Dec. 28 - Dec. 30.
CPW will happen on Dec. 27.
1
Also, sign up for Conclave. Speaking of Conclave, we'll be electing
voting delegates...any volunteers?
Jake Beal is the new tools chair.
Committee reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Conclave (Cathy): Sign up. Pay. Come to meetings. Help with the
service projects.
So far 110 people have registered.
Jill: We've been having worse turnouts at UMOC over the last
few years. It seems that UMOC depends on the efforts of the candidates
and is independent of our work.
Brian: Perhaps it needs more publicity earlier?
Ari: Let's continue this later (perhaps in ServComm?) and
report back to the chapter.
Silkscreening (Cathy): We might not silkscreen this Sunday.
Tools (Jake): I hereby proclaime myself the tools chair.
I'm in charge of your screwdrivers. D'oh! The machine lathe was
delivered to 3-270 instead! And I'm in charge of your mallets!
Ingrid: Sectionals happened at Phi. There was 88/89
Conference stuff. And a banquet. And a dance.
Sparky: The APO youth grant application is due Dec. 12.
It's a grant for either a one-shot or a continuous year-long
project. It's best to interact directly with the youth.
New Business:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
President (Lizzie): Conclave voting delegates. Volunteers? (discussion)
Okay so our voting delegates are Lizzie (me) and Jake.
Richard: We should add apo-news to the blood-drive list.
Announcements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Richard: Blood drive really soon now in the Sala. Volunteer.
Give blood.
2
Sparky: There will be a mailing regarding Regionals soon.
Vote for UMOC. Vote early; vote often. Just a penny a vote.
Grant: SFF is on Saturday in the 24th floor lounge of Tang.
Jill: Instead of "pizza and Shakespeare," we'll be having
"pizza and Fuenteovejunas." And if you're interested in UMOC reform,
talk to me.
PFTGOTO:
~~~~~~~
Ingrid: My birthday is Tuesday.
And toxicology still sucks.
Jake: 6.111 RULES!
Susama: I have no classes tomorrow.
Matt: No quiero escribir en espan ol, pero "Bip Bu...Bip
Bu...Bip Bu..."
Lan: CAC and Schedules suck.
Richard: I have half of a job offer. ;)
Jill: I'm injured. :(
Matt: Rose petals and quail lead to a flaming shower.
Jake: Ask me about a flaming dude story. It's pretty funny.
Heather: Ask me about my diamond. It's pretty.
