Dave (dcctdw@athena) and I are PCing chapter weekend (Feb 12-15).
I think the camp we are going to is Child (sp?). Ping (pshuang@athena) has
already set a wonderful example volunteering to be Transport PC. Brothers
with cars please volunteer to drive. But we still need a food PC and
people to do phone calling. Please volunteer. This chapter weekend is
very important in the sense that we give our new prospectives and pledges
an idea of what a chapter weekend is. And we DON'T want to cancel it
because no one wants to do the work.
We don't know what kind of service we are going to do at the camp
yet, but we will keep you posted. For those who don't know what chapter
weekend is, you DON'T have to stay at the camp for the whole period. There
should be shuttles running to and from the camp everyday.
Signup sheet at the office as usual. You can also email me to sign
up if that's more convenient for you. Write down what days you want to be
there and if you can't eat certain kinds of foods (i.e. vegetarians,
kosher, etc.)
