Hullo,
I am taking 6.071 this term. Which means I will be having a brief affair
with pratical reality. Alas, a great rift has formed between me and this
particular genre! Here is my current predicament.
I need to learn how to use an Oscilascope (use? you mean like, actually
manipulate solid body objects with your hands! (shudder)).
I don't know how to use an Oscillascope.
Somebody out there has got to know how to use an Oscillascope.
I was wondering if somebody in the next two days (i.e. Monday afternoon to
Tuesday Afternoon.) would be willing to come with me to the 6.071 lab
area an introduce me to this...this...TOOL!
Friend: Oscillascope, Carolyn. Carolyn, Oscillascope!
Carolyn: Pleased to make your Acquaintance!
Oscillascope: Oh no! The pleasure is all mine!
(oh the trials and tribulations of a math major!)

How I wish I were a Car-O-lyn.
I'd wear overalls and play the mand-O-lin.
I'd skip through the forest and pull up the flowers
and eat them to nourish my superman powers.

Thing 2 and Thing 1!"
