Officers'  reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SVP (Alexis): We had a project on sunday. We should go to Boston
       Urban Gardeners again it was really cool. Chapter Weekend II
       is this weekend, Chapter Skills Weekend is next weekend, and
       the leadership workshop is the following weekend.
MVP (Ari):  Richard ran a study break on sunday and it was cool.
       I am meeting with pledges this week.  If you are a big brother
       and your little hasn't talked to me bug them. John Federovich
       has left the Institute. If people want another Memcom meeting
       they should talk to me about it.
AVP (Jeffrey): Sorry that the minutes have not come out yet, but I
       have been really hosed but I will be less hosed for a little while.
       The minutes from the last few meetings are now typed up and
       I will be sending them out tomorrow. Whoever is my successor
       gets the little part of my job that I didn't get around to:  the
       Database.
Treasurer (John): Fincomm meeeting will discuss our accounts. The
       meeting will be Tuesday, November 12th at 6:30 in the APO
       Office.  If you have any ideas of what to do with the money in
       the accounts, please talk to me.  If you need money from me
       quickly, please send me mail, as I only come into the office to do
       accounting about once a week.
FC (Ingrid): There was a study break on sunday.
Cathy: SFF is on November 16th. It is in 26-110. It is really cool. Its
       at 8pm, come and go as you wish.  Please sign up so we know
       how much food to get. Please bring CD's (and label them). If no
       one brings CD's, we will listen to Cathy's CD all night. Indicate
       how many guests you intend to bring.
Ingrid: We inivited all the chapters of section 96 at conclave to SFF.
       I Banquet is coming up.  Bubble wrap study break needs PC's
       and bubble wrap.
APOcEd (Hannah): So, I was going to send out an apoc, but nobody
       wrote articles, so you all suck. I better get articles or the next
       apoc will be minutes and my thesis.
ASC (Lizzie): More as a Book Exchange thing, it only took 13 days
       to get all the books from book exchange out of the office.
PubDir (Carolyn): Still working on the Infinite Corridor Board. We
       have a plan though and we shall be implementing it really soon.
Historian (Charley): I got the pictures back from Clark development
       and they really suck. The bylaws amendment is being voted on
       tonite, and afterwards I will be soliciting members. I am labeling
       photos to make my successor's life easier.
SVP (Alexis): Splash nees us to stuff more envelopes.
Charley: Actually, I talked to Nick and what Splash needs is more bod-
       ies to actually run Splash. That would be on Saturday November
       23, 8:00 am.
Advisory Comm. Chair (Joe): Nothing to Report
President (Emily):  Coming up in the meeting today is the bylaws
       amendments, the nationals voting delegates, nominations, and
       carnival stuff. Everyone should run for an office.
Committee  reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Roberts Rules of Order Comm (Ari): I have a new version of the
Robert's Rules with typo's fixed. Someone mentioned that we don't
have a way to end discussion.

Chapter Weekend II (Gina): Everyone sign up. We would like to
have everyone go so it would be more fun. We will be chopping down
trees and other fun destructive things like that.

Bani: If you haven't said when you want to go, I am assuming that
you want to go up on Friday.

Alexis: I want to thank the pledges for working so hard on Chapter
       Weekend II.

Conclave (Cathy & Harry): We went, it was ok. We got another
award for membership. Wellseley died because the school did not want
a fraternity on campus. We already have the packet for next Conclave,
April 11-13 at University of New Hampshire. The Conclave in the Fall
will be at the University of Vermont.

UMOC: Steve won. He got over $600 and the other candidates had
about $30. The tech called me and there will be an article soon. Thanks
to those who helped me run it.

Old  Business:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Archive Committee:  At the last chapter meeting we discussed the
amendments to the bylaws. Now we are boting and discussion is closed.
We need to have them read.
(Emily reads the amendments)
Because of the nautre of the amendments we are about to vote on, they
have to be voted on together.
[AVP Note: The Amendments are in the the minutes for the last chapter
meeting, and a hard copy is in the office or available from Charley]
Yes - 15 No - 0 Abstain - 0
prove our policies of three years prior. These policies were last updated
September 1993.
   o Disscussion at an election [passed]
   o Transportation reimbursement [passed]
   o Posting of main motions before meetings [passed]
   o Second account for major projects
The word ``chapter'' changed to ``project'' in the context ``the
books of the chapter are closed.''
Yes - 14 No - 0 Abstain - 1
   o Titles
The words ``Social Chairman'' changed to ``Fellowship Chair''.
White Balloted
Carnival (Oscar): [NOTE: There was quite a bit of discussion on the
second mailing and the budget, and the chapter generally found a lot
of mistakes and confusing items in them, due in part to the fact that
there was some miscommunications between the members of Carnival
Comm. Therefore, the approval of the mailing and the budget has been
moved to the following Exec Comm]
New  Business:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nominations (Emily): Nom Comm met. We have suggestions.

[The following are the resulting Nominations]

and Gina.

of an alternate is postponed until I Banquet]

and describes the differences between different saws.

Announcements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Charley:  I am now taking volunteers for Archive Commitee.  You
       don't have to be a brother to be on the Committee.
Ingrid: Anyone who wants to PC the Bubble Wrap study break should
       talk to me.
Jill: Multiple people's birthdays are the week of November 22nd, so we
       should have a fellowship event then to celebrate the birthdays.
PFTGOTO:
~~~~~~~
Charley: I regret to inform the chapter that Clinton won.

Ingrid: My 21st birthday was yesterday. I got to spend it at LSC
       elections. In Central Square that morning I bought a bottle of
       Jack Daniels. When I got to campus, I dumped it out and rinsed
       out the bottle. Then I bought some Snapple raspberry iced tea
       at LaVerde's and put it in the bottle. I took the Jack Daniels
       to the LSC meeting and proceeded to drink it (a shot at a time)
       throughout the elections meeting. A shot after a particularly
       bad discussion or a worrisome vote.... It was fun.

Chris Falling: Meetings before an exam just suck. I have the budget
       and if people have ideas about it, talk to me.

Michael: Don't carry tools into a meeting. Its very distracting.

Brian: The new Star Wars movies will be released January 31st, Febru-
ary 20th, and March 7th.

Richard: Happy Birthday Ingrid

Jill: My doctor said I am really healthy.

Ingrid: Don't rush out to see the Star Wars movies. Go to LSC to see
       them.

Meeting adjourned to a sing Happy Birthday to Ingrid Circle about
11:30 PM.
