As to Richard's comment at the end about the general Tool sign out
process. I reinstituted the use of the sheets on the door, even though
we had tried a more detailed system before I was tool chair. The
advantage of the sheets on the door is that they are convienient - and
get used. The previous system did not get used, which made it inherently
unworkable. I don't say the sheets on the door work - as I also don't
believe that they are regularly checked, and they only suffice to get in
touch with someone who the checker already knows. But they are
currently supposed to be accompanied by collateral, which helps in the
case of non-brothers. And brothers shouldn't have too much trouble
tracking down brothers, even mold.
