So, to clear up some confusion, here is the track for getting big/
little brothers.
1- All brothers interested should get articles about themselves
to Hannah by FRIDAY. Even if you think you already have a little
in mind, we need something from you! If there's a reason you think
you should be an exception to this rule, let me know.
2- Pledge article meal is Saturday. We feed the pledges and
they write articles about themselves (pledges who can't make it
should e-mail me a quick bio of themselves ahead of time).
We're meeting at noon in Killian Court (rain location, meet in
Lobby 10 and we'll go from there).
3- Feel free to ask each other. Pledges, if a brother asks you,
feel free to tell them you want to meet more people first. Or to
say yes. Or no. Your preferences are most important here.
4- Next week we will have copies of brothers' articles about themselves
(and hopefully pictures of them) up in our office (student center,
room 415). Pledges, feel free to drop by and chat and take a look.
5- Anyone who hasn't chosen a big by a week from tomorrow (friday) should
send me a list of their top choices and I'll sort through them and
give as many people their first choices as possible.
6- A week from Saturday night we will be having a study break for bigs
and littles to meet and or hang out. It will be part of our chapter
weekend, but you don't have to come to the whole chapter weekend to attend
(although chapter weekends are way cool).
7- A big brother should be someone who seems cool who you wouldn't mind
spending some time with. If at all possible, it SHOULDN'T be someone
you know already from outside the chapter and it certainly shouldn't
be someone you live with (although we do make exceptions to that rule
so if you really want to, contact me).
