This mail is about deep philosophy. According to the CPW (chapter
planning workshop) people, this should be done at a meeting, but we're
all real busy, so an e-mail shall suffice.
Here's the deep philosophy:
IF WE DON'T BRING PEOPLE IN PERSONALLY, THEY WON'T COME!!!
Yup, you heard me. Flashy lights and mass e-mails and shirts and
penants and drop posters and signs and radioactive wombats are really
cool and they get peoples attentions, but it's the brothers job,
in the end, to go up to people and say, 'Hey, wanna go build/destroy/
paint/clean/burn a foo and then have some ice cream?'. If we don't
do that, we don't get pledges. And that would suck.
So, y'all have the schedule. Y'all have met frosh and others.
Bring 'em along. It's for brotherhood! It's for service! ummm...
if you're good, I'll buy you ice cream :)
Hope to see you all tomorrow.
Project at noon, movies and ice cream at 9pm.
