hi all!
I am writing this to tell you all why I would be a good.....
let's start with Fellowship chair:
I think Fellowship is a very important part of the chapter; it was the
major draw in making me a member. Fellowship ties us all together and
makes service fun. It's also important not to forget the F in LFS.
anyway, I believe that I would do a good job guiding the
fellowship program. I have many ideas, including special study breaks,
a scavanger hunt, and just keeping doing everything that we have been;
like dinner trips and SFF and STeak Fry. I have already PC'ed STeak Fry
and SFF, and have led numerous dinner trips; so I would be able to steer
PC's in the right direction and help them out.
Also, Member retention is important, and I definitely agree with
Ingrid that contacting Emily and trying to make some use of the info
that she has collected would be a step in the right direction. Some of
my ideas in that vein involve sending out mailings to all the inactives;
little flyers that advertize the events and welcome back everyone to APO
in the beginning of the term. Or, Perhaps holding a big welcome back
event that is really social at the beginning of Fall term that is
heavily publicized.
Now for my hosage: I am planning on taking 6.001 next term,
which will be a timesink but hopefully not that bad. I Don't know what
else I am taking, besides random music; and I don't know if I will be in
band next year (in regards to making night meetings).
Most of all, I think that running the fellowship program would
be fun and a good learning experience.
now why I want to be .......
MVP
I am out of time, I will write more later.....I have to run to
rehearsal......
YiLFS,
Jill
