This past Saturday I PC'd the project at National Braille Press.
I was glad to see that eight brothers and three pledges were present.
There was much work to do at this project. Even with eleven of us there,
some jobs which needed to get done at National Braille Press couldn't
be completed. We were asked to package music, restructure shelves, recycle
zinc plates and dispose of used materials. All of this was a lot to do
even though we stayed from 9:30am to 4:30pm with about an hour <total>
for both a breakfast break and a lunch break. It was very nice of the
National Braille Press to provide us with Breakfast and Lunch. A mistake
on my part was that I forgot to consider food restrictions when I agreed
to let the National Braille Press people order food for us. When the lady
at National Braille Press offered donuts and pizza, I said that it was fine
without thinking about those with food restrictions (e.g. the Passover
restriction on bread with leavening agents>. Otherwise, I was very pleased
with the attendance for this project. Thank you to all those who attended.
The project wouldn't have been a success without everyone who came and
helped out.
