APO has a joint project coming up with TCA next week, March 18-22 and the first
week of April 1-5. They need help with the next Red Cross blood drive, mostly
with publicity and signing people up to come. I haven't been able to get exact
hours/locations for the drive out of them yet, but signing people up for
appointments looks like it will happen 10 to 4 next week, in the first floor
of the Student Center. We need brothers to sign up for hours (I'll post a sheet
in the office today) to work the table, kind of like for UMOC.
It would also be cool, we thought at the chapter meeting, if we could recruit
people for the drive out of our living groups. With the current roster of active
brothers, this covers most of the campus, except maybe Baker and some EC halls,
though I'm not sure.
The drive itself is the week of April 1-5. People are always needed to staff
the blood drive, doing things like checking people in, making sure the queues
for nurses and beds don't get rowdy, and handing out cookies and juice at the
canteen tables.
That's about it for now. I'll update this with more details once I have them.
