Sick if the UA candidates and elections? Wondering what exactly the UA
actually does anyhow? Want to punt the UA altogether? Annoyed with all
those POSTERS? Then Write-In Jason Bucy and Jennifer Mosier for
UAP-UAVP!!!
We are seniors so we have been declared hack candidates. We insist that
we are the only ones running that will actually accomplish their goals.
Our platform is to systematically dismantle the UA by June 7th, 1996.
No excuses!
We think that the UA does not provide any useful services to the MIT
community. The only reason students run for office is to pad their
resumes. But not us. We have a vision and a mission.
The UA can be broken into its components and made more efficient. It
would be a triumph for downsizing, re-engineering, and Buchananism all
at once, without the reactionary social program or buzzword
compliance. The ASA would finally be autonomous. Without the pesky
UA, Finboard will have roughly double the money to allocate. With a
small "dismantlement" check for the wasting UA while we run it into
the ground, and a hefty allocation for _Voo Doo_, there will still be
more than enough cash to float a FREE SPRING CONCERT, courtesy of UAP
Jason Bucy and UAVP Jennifer Mosier!
We would also like to challenge the other candidates to a debate since
we are certain that our platform is the most sound. Pick a time, pick
a place. Yes, we talk the talk, but we walk the walk too. Make your
vote at last mean _something_, and we will tirelessly dismantle that
which hobbles activities, MIT's reputation, and students alike. The
UA is going down, and you, the undergraduates, must prevail,
Nation-of-Ulysses-style.
So remember, make this the last UA election! Write-In Bucy-Mosier for UAP-UAVP!
