	presents Negotiation, IAP Course # 314
			Life,
			Liberty,
			Negotiation . . .

Course outline:
	* Effectiveness of different bargaining techniques by exploring the 
	  fundamentals of negotiation theory.
	* Effective planning before entering a negotiation.
	* Strategies to restore communication between parties to resolve 
	  breakdowns of negotiations.
	* Understanding power and persuasion.
	* Building relationships, negotiating in groups & working in teams.

IAP schedule (three one-week sessions left; please indicate preference):
	Session C:  Tuesday 1/16/96 - Friday 1/19/96	 1:00 pm -  4:00 pm
	Session D:  Monday  1/22/96 - Friday 1/26/96	10:00 am - 12:30 pm
	Session E:  Monday  1/22/96 - Friday 1/26/96	 1:00 pm -  3:30 pm

This class is primarily geared towards undergraduate MIT students.  Class
 participants should expect to attend class (within a given session) every day.  
 Walk-ins are welcome, but students are greatly encouraged to sign up to reserve
 materials.
