PROJECT NEGOTIATION:

	presents Negotiation, IAP Course # 314


Course outline:
	* Effectiveness of different bargaining techniques by exploring the 
	  fundamentals of negotiation theory.
	* Effective planning before entering a negotiation.
	* Strategies to restore communication between parties to resolve 
	  breakdowns of negotiations.
	* Understanding power and persuasion.
	* Building relationships, negotiating in groups & working in teams.
	* Practicing negotiation skills in active role-plays.

This class will minimize lecturing, and instead focus on active role-playing in
which students can practice their negotiation skills.

IAP schedule (only attend one session):
Session D:  Monday  1/22/96 - Friday 1/26/96	10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Session E:  Monday  1/22/96 - Friday 1/26/96	 1:00 pm -  3:30 pm
