We have a new project scheduled for Sunday, October 1st. The Boston Ballet,
a nonprofit organization, needs volunteers to help set up and run a
fundraising carnival. We will be setting up, running games, etc. There
will be performances from the dancers there. It will be from about 12-6pm;
there is not yet a set meeting time in the office. If you want to go, send
me mail <cmcoury@mit.edu> or sign up in the office.
The weekend of Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1 is Chapter Skills
Weekend. Printing will be taught on both days. There is a CPR course
tentatively scheduled for Saturday and silkscreening tentatively from
9am-1pm Sunday. A treasury course will also be taught. Signup sheets will be
appearing in the office soon. If you are interested in printing, talk to Kate
<kcurtis> or Harry <hftsai>. If you are interested in silkscreening, talk
to Laurel <lschaide>. Please tell me if you are interested in treasury
or CPR.
