I walked into the APOffice today and found the main coke machine lock
failing the same way as it did when i last fixed it. See the note on
the front of the coke machine from that last repair. Note we already
have the next size smaller bolt inside the door (past the 2nd lock).
So you'll just need a die to rethread the bolt to that thread size.
I would do it, but i'm about to go on vacation for 2 weeks. Someone
could go out and get the next even smaller nut so we'll be ready a few
years from now.
If it remains undone in Sept, i'll handle it.
Until then, i have shimmed the nut forward with a few plastic straws,
which will help in closing it.
UNTIL IT IS FIXED: i >*-STRONGLY-*< recommend that the Coke machine be
opened as little as possible. it is very difficult to close right
now.
