I got a call today from a guy named Finley Shapiro asking about
someone he said was a brother, who graduated in 1980. The
brother's name was David Plotnick. I found a Mark Plotnick (Pledge
Class of Spring 1978) in the Historian's Roll, but no reference to
a David.
I called MIT alumni records, and David Plotnick did graduate in 1980,
but I have no recollection of a brother by that name (which would have
been when I was active), and the AX Alumni Association has no record
of him in its address database. I'll circulate the request on the
alumni e-mail list and see if anyone else has information. I suspect
that he wasn't a brother, but he might have been involved in other
fourth-floor activities.
(I've heard the name Finley Shapiro before, I think, but I don't
remember the context.)
