I've just released MacWAIS 1.29 which, among other things, includes support
for an OpenURL Apple Event (as sent from our new Forms capable World Wide
Web client for the Macintosh, MacWeb). Specifically, MacWeb handles WAIS
URLs by sending MacWAIS an OpenURL Apple Event. MacWAIS is initially
configured to hand documents of WAIS Type "HTML" back to MacWeb.

You may get the new version of MacWAIS via the following URL:

          ftp://ftp.einet.net/einet/mac/macwais1.29.sea.hqx

or from anonymous ftp from ftp.einet.net in the directory /einet/mac, file
  named macwais1.29.sea.hqx.

And if you're interested, you may get MacWeb from:

          ftp://ftp.einet.net/einet/mac/macweb/macweb0.98alpha.sea.hqx

Enjoy the new release of MacWAIS, and as always, if you have any problems,
questions or suggestions, send them to mac-shareware@einet.net.
