Yes, ~/.history is the same issue.  One one hand, it's more of a concern
because more people use csh than xmosaic, but on the other hand it gives
more detailed information.

I guess its similar to .newsrc and .meetings.  Xmosaic seems a little
more extreme, in that you can see precisely what the user reads and
when.

I'm not personally concerned about people knowing what I read, but I'll
use myself as an example.  You can look at my .newsrc and see what
newsgroups I subscribe to.  But I usually just scan the subject lines,
and only read those articles I'm particularly interested in.  Then I
"catch up".  You don't know which ones I read.

With xmosaic, you can tell that I looked at the National Performance
Review table of contents on Fri Oct 22 15:28:13 1993.

When you use discuss for the first time, it at least tells you it's
creating a .meetings file.  Same with netnews.  With xmosaic I didn't
know what it was doing until I ran it a second time and noticed the
dotted underline on items I had already read.
