The Secure HTTP and SSL specs are available from the IETF at:
ftp://ds.internic.net/internet-drafts/
Look for:
draft-ietf-wts-shttp-00.txt (Secure HTTP)
and
draft-hickman-netscape-ssl-01.txt (SSL)
The SSL spec is also available at:
http://home.netscape.com/newsref/std/SSL.html.
