All of this nonsense has given me an idea:

Why not configure the mail server to unsubscribe any users on the
mailing list who send a message that is less than 3 lines long? Or if
we're afraid of unsubscribing people that post short messages, then have
the server send them a message saying they've been unsubscribed, and they
can resubscribe like so, etc.

That's probably a lot simpler than compiling a whole list of stuff people
could send to the server, and I've seen no one post anything less than 3
lines in any mailing list without wanting to be unsubscribed.

Just a thought.
