Hey all, me again. This is my second post to the group.
Sadly, as my first, this is a gripe and a suggestion. I
really liked the idea posted a while ago that the list
owner remove everyone from the list and those of us
that want back on the list will resub. This fixes the
immediate problem of the lusers that don't know how to
remove themselves from the list. Also, I agree with
the idea of periodic purges unless one resubs to the
list. Another idea that I liked was the mailing of
a periodic FAQ that includes the mailing list charter
and raison d'etre. However, I think the reason such
a FAQ does not exist is because noone has volunteered
to maintain it (nope, not me!). If someone would be
willing to volunteer their time to do the FAQ, I
imagine that a monthly posting of such a beast would
be much more feasable.
Anyways, those are my thoughts on the subject.
