I'm sorry, I thought about it afterwards, and there is something I
assumed.  It seems that despite all these complaints, people still don't
follow instructions.  This leads me to believe that they get so frustrated
that they don't even read the messages from this list any longer.

Therefore, if they don't read them, they won't know about the unsubscribe
requests.

I guess we can drop this idea....
