There were some postings from back in July and August that talked about
FrontPage 1.1 -- but that was before the release of the Web Presence
Provider's Kit (http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/wpp.htm) and it's
related scripts, samples, and docs.  

Also, setup for the extensions for FrontPage 97 (currently shipping
version) has been improved and has taken into account previous comments
that have come across here and elsewhere.

Since the FP server extensions are CGI apps, any security concerns are
the same as those you'd have with other CGI apps.  The docs in the WPP
Kit give details about the recommended ways to setup the extensions
either for a single server or for multi-hosting.
