I've tried this in the newsgroup and no luck there. Can any one point
me a way. I have no problem setting up a protected httpd. The problem
is how to use the browser to login, change password and etc.

Forwarded Message:

In comp.infosystems.www.providers you write:

>In CERN 3.0 user guide, it covers how to setup username and password
and
>didn't cover how the web browser submit the authentication
information to the
>server. I have no luck with the FAQ as well. I appreciate any
pointer.

>Oh. I heard that it is not possible to setup authentication on some
WEB pages
>and the same setup proxy access on CERN server. Is this true?
