Papers pertaining to all aspects of computer systems and information
security are solicited for submission to the Second Australasian Conference
on Information Security and Privacy, ACISP '97.
TOPICS
Papers may present theory, techniques, applications and practical
experiences on a variety of topics including:
o network security security protocols
o electronic commerce distributed system security
o database security security policy
o security management
o authentication
o access control
o cryptology
o key management auditing
o security architectures and models
o mobile system security
o secure operating systems
o software and intellectual property protection
o smart cards
o secure intelligent agents
o security evaluation and certification
Papers relating to practical experience and commercial applications in
security are particularly welcome.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
The Program Committee invites technical papers and panel proposals for
topics of technical and general interests. The technical papers are
limited to 10-15 single-spaced pages of 12 point type ( title page
and Bibliography not included). Papers should not have been
previously published or submitted in parallel for publication to
any other conference to workshop that that has proceedings.
Panel proposals should be 2 pages and should describe the topic,
identify the Panel Chair, explain the format of the Panel
and list 3 to 4 potential panels.
SUBMISSIONS
Submissions must be anonymous and must contain a separate title page with
the type of submission (paper or panel), the title or topic, the names of
the author(s), organisational affiliation(s), telephone and fax numbers,
internet electronic mail and postal addresses. A single point of contact
should be given, if more than one author. The names of authors, affiliations
and other identifying information should appear only on the separate title
page.
Submissions should be made electronically via e-mail (preferred option) or
by post. If the submission is via e-mail, one post-script copy is requested
(names and affiliation must not be present in the post-script). If the
committee is unable to print the post-script version, it will be returned
and hard copy requested. Therefore, post-script submissions should arrive
well before the deadline. If the submission is via post, the authors have
to provide 7 (seven) copies of the paper and 1 (one) copy of the separate
title page.
Submissions must be received by 15 FEBRUARY 1997. All submissions should be
