I have gone a bit further than volunteering, I've set up a majordomo
list here at the ai lab. I don't want to give a general call for
subscriptions until I am sure that the system is fully working. The
last thing we need is a half working mailer, or one that can't cope with
unsubscribe messages.
I don't think we need to start off with the thing moderated and to cut
down on the subscribe problem I've set up the system with the bozo
filter turned on (ie message with unsubscribe goes to *my* mailbox!)
Also I think that to distinguish the new and old lists the name
web-security is better than reusing www-security. As everyone told
Tim when he switched over to world wide web from mesh its not
a pronouncable TLA.
