Yes, but as long as we just not move the problems of the present
list (high ratio of unrelevant postings, flood of "unsubscribe"
plus recent spammings) to a new list, as there would then be no point.
But anyway, there is a problem with creating a new list: did
anyone volunteer to host the the whole system and administer it?
(listproc, majordomo whatever etc).
I think someone volunteered for moderating, which is already a good start.
I otherwise agree with all proposed subjects.
But, as said above, unless a reliable institution propose
to host it, I think this discussion is going to be a bit sterile.
