I support nitpicks for this story.=20

It's true we don't know whether Sov is more conna=C3=AEtre or savoir, but th=
e absence of a second word after all this time kind of suggests that it cove=
rs both.=20

Sum qagh 'e' Sov. suggests to me that a 'has knowledge of, is aware of' sort=
of meaning works. I think it's weirder that the friend has to point out a r=
estaurant in the person's own neighbourhood than that he Sovs it.

With respect to the alternates you suggest, -lu', and wI- are on not the syl=
labus. If chup is, I'll substitute it and see if I can use Sov somewhere els=
e. Can someone suggest a usage of Sov that would not trigger this uncertaint=
y?

Also missing is He (I.e. He vISov). =20

They are Terrans, so a certain amount of wittering is to be expected.=20
