That's true! Using {rur} would be in keeping with the original way scales
were expressed in architectural drawing and model ship building hundreds of
years ago, and continued with plastic model until the mid 20th century.
Quarter inch scale for instance, or 1/4":1 foot, as opposed to 1/48 scale.
We just use "1/XXX scale" nowadays because it's concise.
