Ok, having the original to read from, now I can see what I was doing.
No, it didn't want a -Ha' after all. The point was that it is better
that they leave than that they quietly stick around out of fear of
unsubscribing. As for the -moHlu', just a subtle shade of meaning I
was going for. Plain quvHa' seems more like a state whereas with -moHlu'
it sounds more like an action. Perhaps this is more easily seen if I
pick a different property verb. Would you see the difference between
maSaD and wISaDmoHlu'? If you use the passive voice to translate the latter,
you still might get "We are green", but the meaning is more "We are caused
to be green". More like somebody threw paint on us-- an action, not a
state.
