I agree with Qov. You command the language extremely well for someone who's
been at it only a couple of months. majQa'! I won't go into great detail here,
since Qov has already dealt admirably with almost everything that I saw, but
there are a couple of things I wanted to point out:
ghItlhpu' Josh, jatlh:
> <<SuyDuj? nuq luHIj SuyDujvam?>> jang Qel.
> <<vIHotlhtaH, qaH>> jang HuS.
Instead of -taH, this would be a perfect place to use the aspect suffix -lI',
which shows that an action is in progress towards a goal. Since the merchant
ship is being scanned specifically to determine what its cargo is, I think it
applies here.
Also, there's the matter of the verbs of speech SuStel mentioned a few days
ago. When quoting direct speech you can only really use jatlh and ja'; the
part that describes *how* the person spoke comes in a separate sentence.
So a Klingon would not say:
< vIHotlhlI', qaH, > jang HuS.
but instead, it should be something like:
jang HuS. < vIHotlhlI', qaH, > ja'.
