See, I wanted to finish it. It was written in a notebook, supposed to
be a two pager, but I didn't like the ending, so I kept writing to
get to a better ending. And each time I got to a new ending by then I
had thought of a new better ending that it would take longer to get
to, or more backstory that had to be filled in. I'm still trying to
finish it, but now I have to resolve all the new characters. And I'm
not sure I know what the song is about anymore. So uh, no. I've
written at least 250 words a day since qep'a'.

It is jarring. He's a bit of a piece of work. For him it's a
necessary piece of rationalization in psyching himself up for this
act, the way, for now, that he's answering his own question of "why
am I doing this?" You probably know about the research that has
determined that we make decisions before we actually go though the
logic of why we're making them, and Mahoun is a very impulsive person anyway.
I'm writing the chapters following this now (there are twenty
intervening chapters back on the Dugh) and I think it may get more
confusing before it gets better, but I'll try to make it clear eventually.

chaq bIlugh. 'a choH vIDelbe'. SaHbe'. pay' SaH. vaj pay' SaHchoHpu'.

I'm not sure if I should admit that it isn't the most graphic I've
written. Definitely the bluest I've ever sent to the list, though.
