SKI (Summary for the Klingon Impaired): Captain Mahoun and his
science officer Roliyu meet the Klingon agricultural envoy. The
computer translator triggers anxiety in Mahoun, but perhaps they can
continue without it.
Also, last night I finished 'ay' loSmaH loS, which ends 'ay''a' wej,
without actually reaching what was supposed to be the opening scene.
There was necessary backstory, and then the backstory had backstory,
and so on. Then while I was editing I had a much better idea for one
of the plot levers so am rewriiting it. Again. 'ay''a' wej needs some
re-editing to get rid of the tendrils of various plot devices
discarded in the many rewrites, but I will probably start sending it
immediately after 'ay''a' cha' ends this week.
