I wonder if qolqoS ("essence", "the essential part of something") can be used: mu'[tlhegh] qolqoS choH ghu'. {The situation changes the essence of the word/sentence.}
Would be nice to have special words for such things as "topic" and "meaning", though.

Like so many other questions in Klingon, I guess this one has to be
answered with "the translation depends on the context."
