Slightly off-topic, but it seems worth pointing out that tlhengInem has a song called "Klingonisch": http://media.khemorex-klinzhai.de/audio/klenginem/klenginem_sample_klingonisch.mp3
Lyrics can be found here: http://www.klenginem.de/e/lyrics05.html

Anyhow, I've referred to Klingon as "le klingonais" in discussions with French people, and they didn't complain... ...but then, they weren't Klingonists or even Trekkies, so that's probably not much assurance.
Like Wikipedia, Memory Alpha uses "le klingon" to describe the Klingon language, so I'd go with that.
