Used in canon:

   Sagh; Ho''oy' rur
   serious as a toothache KGT

Not to be confused with {Ho'oy}, a known {bang pong} (pet name, endearment):

KGT 201: Another term based on a body part, {Ho'oy}, is one of the few
that makes sense to a non-Klingon if it is remembered that {Ho'} [lit.
"tooth"] is a slang term for "hero, idol". (It is also enormously important
that this word be pronounced correctly so that it is not misconstrued as
{Ho''oy} ["toothache"]).

How is {Hoy''oy'} used? Does one have {ghaj} or suffer {bech} a toothache,
or does one simply endure {SIQ} it? We know that Klingons say:

   'oy' mInDu'wIj
   My eyes ache. KGT

   'oy'qu' Qay'wI'wIj
my little toe aches a lot (HQ 10.2)

so one can presumably say {'oy' Ho'wIj}. Whatever the idiom,

   'oy'be'lu'chugh Qapbe'lu'
   No pain, no gain. TKW

   yIn DayajmeH 'oy' yISIQ
To understand life, endure pain. TKW

   'oy' DaSIQjaj
May you endure the pain! PK

just don't talk, report {ja'}, complain {bep} or whine {vIng} about it too
often:

   loQ 'oy'DI' SuvwI' bepbe'
A warrior does not complain about physical discomfort. TKW
