The Klingon Language Institute (publisher of HolQeD) sells PC and
Mac disks with two pIqaD fonts and a Klingon-style Roman-alphabet
display font. The "KLIpIqaDmey" are
1. the "Mandel glyphs" (no relation to yours truly), from TV and
earlier movies, I think; letters that are mostly in 2 pieces
each, with "cracks" running through them, assigned to Englishy
sound or letter values in a way that's useless for tlhIngan Hol
as we know it. These are assigned (in the Mac Truetype font) to
the lowercase of KLIpIqaDmey.
2. a good pIqaD set that matches up one-to-one with the 26
letters of Okrand's transliteration (a b ch D e gh ... w y ').
This is on KLIpIqaDmey uppercase (type A B C D E F G ... and get
the pIqaD characters for a b ch D e ng gh ...; but ' is on
apostrophe, and Z is used for the Klingon Empire (?)
"triple-claw" emblem as seen on the cover of TKD 2nd edition.

Dr. Lawrence Schoen, the guy who runs the Klingon Language
Institute, has been snowed under with inquiries since the Time
Magazine article. He's probably rather far behind in his mail.
