Hmmmm, I think David Barron is on the right track with using Da to do
"as if". I'm not convinced about the grammar of some of his examples,
but I think the basic approach is a sound one. I'll take a crack, then,
at "The stranger walks in my heart as if it were his own."
tIqwIjDaq yIttaHvIS nov tIqDaj 'oH 'e' Dalaw' ghaH
Literally: while the stranger walks in my heart, he seems to act as if
it were his [heart].
