We also have at least two names in English, i.e. Earth and Terra.
A Klingon might analyse some English words thus:
American = Americ[a] + -an
Roman = Rom[e] + -an
Venusian = Venus + -[i]an
Terran = Terr[a] + -an
Romulan = Romul[us] + -an [maybe an adopted word?]
Klingon = Klingon [adopted word, s/be Klingan?]
From this he might deduce:
Human = Hum[?] + -an
Hence the Human homeworld is called Hum; or perhaps Humus or even Human.
Of course, he might deduce that Human is evolved/corrupted from Homan (perhaps
the transliteration from English makes the two similar) and that the root name
is simply Home!
