Here's another message which I think my mailer swallowed. Once again, please
ignore and accept my apologies if you've seen this before.
TKD doesn't give the name of the Klingon homeworld (the only word it gives for
"homeworld," as I recall, is a compound of "home" and "planet"), but I think
it's probably named something like tlhI or tlhIng, since tlhIngan has the -ngan
suffix, which seems to mean "member of a race, inhabitant of a planet or
system" and is also present in tera'ngan, romuluSngan, reghuluSngan, and even
verengan (though this seems like an attempt to reconcile a loan-word with a
familiar Klingon suffix by changing the -ngi ending to -ngan). Let me know what
you think!
