Hi there...at the risk of being thrust into the middle of something, I'd
like to point out that a single orthography is not inconsistent with
different forms of languages.  Look at the Chinese.  Or Norwegian.  One
system, different pronounciations.  Makes reading old documents a pain,
but reading is a snap, and spelling is a breeze.  This is something that
would be pretty consistent with a warrior race that would regard language
first and foremost as a useful tool.
